The coordination of nuclear data activities at the international level is done by two
committees: the NEA-Nuclear Science Cornrnittee (NEA-NSC) and the lAEA-
International Nuclear Data Cornrnittee (INDC). The present Editor has the privilege
and the responsibility of representing Germany in both the committees. This report
therefore also serves as a background information to some areas of work of those
committees.
